Peter Nevin

Principal, Managing Director

Peter is a senior executive with more than 30 years experience in strategic planning and the management of business processes, corporate support functions and IT systems and infrastructure. He has held senior management positions in both public and private sector organisations where he has been responsible for the improvement and change management of work practices. Peter also has a background in management consulting and chairs the Board of Advisors of the CIO Executive Council and is a member of the Australian Computer Society's Professional Standards Advisory Group.

Peter's recent experience includes the role of Executive General Manager Business Processes of the minerals processing company, Sedgman, where he had global responsibility for guiding, implementing and maintaining common business processes, data and systems across the organisation. He had responsibility for corporate strategic planning, business planning, performance monitoring and the shared services, marketing and IT functions.

With a Bachelor of Applied Science (Computing) gained from Sydney University of Technology in 1984, Peter has specialised in the development, implementation and ongoing management of business process change that achieves business goals and sustainable competitive advantage.

Peter's previous experience includes global group management roles in business processes and IT for the multinational engineering consulting firm, SKM.   He has held a CIO role for National Rail Corporation and has previous consulting experience gained with Deloitte and in private practice.
